Inkless Stretch Mark Revision Faqs
What is inkless stretch mark revision?
Inkless stretch mark removal is also known as inkless stretch mark revision or ISR, dry tattooing, medical needling, etc. It is a process through which your skin will repair itself using vitamins and serums. The tattoo artist will use a tattoo machine with smaller needles for this procedure.
Is there any downtime?
This is a non-invasive procedure similar to a tattoo. Therefore, there is little to no downtime and most people can resume daily living on the same day or the next day. Aftercare is extremely important so we recommend that you take the day off to relax and avoid touching the area for the best results.
How long does this treatment take?
On average, a session is 1-3 hours depending on the area. What to expect before and after treatment Immediately after your treatment, the area will be red and a little swollen – a typical result after such a procedure. After a week or two, the area will settle as it begins to heal. How soon you'll see results will depend on how your body responds to the treatment, but you should see results in around 40 to 60 days.
Can I receive the inkless stretch mark revision treatment if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Our highest priority is the safety of you and your baby. Unfortunately, we are unable to treat you while pregnant or breastfeeding. We look forward to treating you once you are no longer pregnant or breastfeeding.
Does inkless stretch mark revision work on old stretch marks?
Absolutely! It doesn't matter how long you've had them or how many people have told you you'd be stuck with them forever. Depending on the depth of your stretch marks, you may require several treatments. However, typical results are a 20-100% improvement with one treatment.
